Awesome idea and works wellse A bit in the heavy side but it’s super sturdy and can carry heavy loads. I’m an electrician. Sometimes a little lazy to cary the small ladder with tools. This thing is perfect. Put the tools on it and use it as a step ladder all in one.

An interesting compact ladder This ladder most definitely has a place for someone who finds themselves frequently needing to bring a 3-step ladder with them or who may live in or have a small space to store such a ladder. The ladder collapses from one side to the other or right down the middle. Reviewing the product's pictures will show the ladder in full size, then collapsing, then fully collapsed, giving it a relatively small and skinny foot size when storing or carrying around with you. I have had other 3-step ladders, and they were big and took up space when storing. The ladder's ability to have a small foot-size when storing and collapsing the way it does is it's selling point, as there are other 3-ste ladders, but none I have seen collapse like this with a small foot-size.. The latter seemed very sturdier to me, holding my 220+ weight without any problems. It is a bit pricey, in my opinion, but for the quality and what you get, I believe it is worth the 5 stars if size is something you value.

Great step ladder for those who are a "little shaky" in climbing these kinds of ladders. This is a great step ladder for those who are a "little shaky" in climbing ladders without means of side support (i.e. handrails). As the product notes state: this ladder comes out of the box, ready to use. It requires no installation (except for the cross-rail at the top; which assembles easily using two screws). Also, the side hand rails fold out of the way when not in use! None of the other ladders of similar design has this feature. This is a "plus and a selling point" in my opinion.
