It does what it it's supposed to.. Did it all by hand. Thye click when you close them completely. They don't slide around when forced. They seem solid.
Just dabbed in a bunch of high performance grease at install.

It's both nicer and less expensive than the ones I found in big-box home/hardware stores. If it proves durable, I'll be very, very pleased with it; I've already bought another.
Assembled on our 2003 Yamaha. Fit just right. Of course it was just a pain to put in.
Fit great just not great enough to continue to use due to lack of space
