Very glad I opted for the 40lb instead of the 30lb... the 40lb is able to push my 12' aluminum boat across the lake fast enough to get me where I need to go on its highest speed and is also able to keep me trolling all day long at lower speeds. I've only had it for about 2 months now and have only taken it out maybe fifteen times, but it seams like a solid product and have not had any issues so far. All speeds have been useful and I've really appreciated having the reverse speeds at times as well. Product feels very durable and should last me a long time. I also love that I don't need to keep buying gas each time I want to take my boat out trolling... just attach to a battery and go... then recharge the battery til next trip. Very cost efficient.

Like the other positive reviews state, a great and powerful little motor. Definitely recommended for a raft or a small boat!

Very cool trolling motor. Has Enough power to move my 12 ft. Jon boat through the weeds. I like it a lot.

I use this motor for a canoe...and boy does it work well. We have run for 4 to 6 hours fishing and it is very efficient. The Battery has not gone below 3/4 charge. We usually use the first 3 speeds, and it moves us along at a nice clip. (2 people and all our gear in the canoe).

Love it, longest i been on the water with it is 8 hours fishing a bass tournament on my Intex Inflatable boat.

Very quiet and lots of power... It's not hard to catch more fish with this accessory... The crappie and bass can't hear you coming... Money well spent... FISH ON!

We bought a smaller motor for our boat and found it works even better than the higher power one! No vibration !

Loved using this on a small lake to teach my 4 year old how to fish. Also good for teaching her how to tube....slow and steady and she was not afraid of going too fast!

The unit works as described, and it propells my canoe without issues. It takes a little to get with using it, but you can go up and down the river without paddlling. Hight adjustment convenient.

Works great for my Seahawk 4. Could definitely use more than 30 lb thrust, but this product still gets the job done. No complaints whatsoever.
