I use this motor to travel out to my sailboat. It's moored about 1000 feet out from the access and this thing makes hauling passengers and gear a breeze.
Great motor! I used this motor yesterday and it was great for a 16 foot canoe. It has pretty good speed and i went out with my friend for the first time and caught a 6 pound bass. If it weren't for this motor we would have never caught that lunker.
I saw the reviews on this motor and was a little Leary to buy it but went ahead and did it and it was the money. When I got it it was in great condition. Make sure to check the gear lube had hardly any when I received it. It pushes my 1436 aluminum Jon boat about 12 mph with two people in it.
As advertised. Well boxed. No assembly needed. Started easily will no issues. Manuel is almost useless, went online to view video.
