Main engine used outboard boat engines

Ship's advance depends on the operation of engine. Does the principle of different types of ship's control over marine engine be the same?

The operation of marine main engine can be divided into the following categories according to the size of the ship

1. Full electronic control. The bridge is equipped with a transmitter, the engine room is equipped with a servo motor to control the throttle opening, and the clutch is equipped with an electromagnetic valve to control the forward and backward motion.

2. Mechanical type, use fine steel wire from the bridge to the engine room main engine.

Both of these methods are used for small ships and require little power.

3. Electric-pneumatic, the bridge transmitter sends out electric signals and controls many solenoid valves in the cabin. The solenoid valves are filled with compressed air, which is used to control the main engine.

4. Direct use of compressed air, the bridge is equipped with a precise pressure regulating valve, through different pressures to control the throttle opening of the air cooled boat motor , and through the stomatal reversing valve to control the forward and backward operation of the gearbox.

These two are basically used on large ships.

The greatest advantage of marine engine performance over locomotive is that the parts of marine engine are basically monolithic, one cylinder for each cylinder head, one high-pressure oil pump for each cylinder and so on. They are assembled together. If you want to dismantle a large beach, you can dismantle whoever breaks down the ship engine, reduce the workload and have a large space on board. So when you do the machine, you don't think much about the volume, you do monolithic.
